Android SDK
Embed the Loops AI assistant natively in your Android app — chat, virtual try-on, search, size, and analytics through one SDK.
What the Android SDK does
The Loops AI Android SDK (com.loopsai.chat) embeds the full Loops assistant inside
your native app. It is a thin, dependency-free native container around the Loops web
runtime: the web owns the conversation UI, while native owns the session, routing,
and analytics. It supports both Jetpack Compose and Views / Fragments.
One integration gives you:
- Chat opened as an Activity, embedded as a Fragment, or as a Compose view.
- Flow modes as first-class native calls — virtual try-on, AI search, and size suggestion.
- Analytics that flow through the SDK on the
androidchannel and share one taxonomy with your web and iOS reports. - Native session ownership — the anonymous session persists in app-private
SharedPreferencesand survives app relaunch and WebView storage clears.
The SDK requires Android 5.0+ (API 21) and AndroidX. It has
no OkHttp/Retrofit dependency — networking is a tiny HttpURLConnection helper.
